the palisade short combines technical fabric, purpose driven features and ergonomic patterning in a design specifically geared for the trail. light and durable, terratex™ is a plain weave nylon blend geared for warm weather hiking and trekking. it provides upf 50+ sun protection, dries quickly, allows airflow and delivers stretch performance.
streamlined and simple
the palisade short’s trim fit is streamlined. this minimizes excess fabric, something especially important while bushwhacking or on a narrow, steep trail. articulated patterning and a gusseted crotch deliver ergonomic freedom to help handle steep grades and shifting terrain. the purpose focused design leads to clean aesthetic that gives the palisade short freedom to travel on and off trail.
trail focused
function defines the palisade’s form. comfortable, moisture wicking brushed polyester lines the waistband for comfort in warm weather and under a hipbelt, and the integrated webbing belt secures the fit. pockets are carefully selected and placed for efficiency while on the move with a pack on. slash hand pockets provide simple, easy access to small essentials. streamlined cargo pockets on each thigh secure with a low profile laminated zipper and have a volume pleat for more effective storage of larger items.
