designed for the urban bike commute, but with casual chino style that easily transitions off the bike, the a2b chino short blends outdoor performance, contemporary aesthetics, and premium fabrics with the arc’teryx focus on purpose driven design and freedom of movement. the trim fit is streamlined and moves with the body, and the gusseted crotch elevates ergonomic freedom. the herringbone fabric, loam™, combines the comfort and look of cotton with the durability and water resistance of nylon. elastane fibers add stretch, and a water repellant finish adds weather protection.
built to ride
arc’teryx is rooted in the alpine, but they know there is more to the world than rock and ice. daily life is a reality, and it moves fast, so function and style are no longer mutually exclusive. building for the bike means adding specific features that add safety and ease the commute. the back pockets have integrated reflective surfaces that add visibility during early morning and late evening commutes, but tuck discretely out of the way when not needed. two hand pockets and two welted back pockets stow essentials, and a water repellant finish protects the shorts from light rain and puddle crossings.
